For Profoundly Gifted Middle & High School Students
Unlike traditional school settings, Davidson Academy classes are grouped by ability, not age.
The Davidson Academy of Nevada is a unique public school specifically designed to meet the needs of profoundly gifted middle and high school students. It is strongly recommended that applicants be in the process of completing 6th grade, at minimum, at the time of application.
The Davidson Academy frequently hosts tours for prospective students and their parents. At these tours, visitors meet current Academy students, parents, faculty and staff, and ask specific questions about the school.
The Davidson Academy eNewsletter is available online with a new issue published every other month. It features a student column, an instructor profile, and school updates and activities.
The Davidson Academy is listed in The Washington Post's annual "Top-performing schools with elite students".
