Tuition

The Davidson Academy of Nevada is a free public school. There is no tuition associated with attending the Academy. The cost of courses and textbooks are covered through a combination of public and private funding. University of Nevada, Reno courses that are being used to fulfill Davidson Academy graduation requirements are also covered at no additional costs to Academy students. Some Academy classes, extracurricular activities and clubs may occasionally have a small fee that is the student’s responsibility.
If an Academy student wishes to take a University course outside of their graduation requirements, they will be responsible for the tuition and other expenses associated with the class. Since all Academy students are required to be residents of the state of Nevada, they are charged the in-state per credit tuition rate. A scholarship fund is available through the Academy so that students can apply for assistance for the costs incurred when enrolling in University of Nevada classes beyond those that apply towards Davidson Academy graduation requirements.
