The Davidson Academy of Nevada (“the Academy”) is committed to diversity and to ensuring that our programs, services and activities are accessible to all.  Part of that commitment will be seen in work to safeguard that our website conforms to accessibility standards, thereby satisfying the requirements of the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights to make this website comply with the ADA (Title II) and Section 504 of the Reauthorized Rehabilitation Act.

If you believe you or others have been discriminated against in connection with the Academy’s website accessibility, you may file a formal grievance with the Academy alleging discrimination under Section 504 and Title II of the ADA.  The formal grievance may be sent by mail, facsimile, or email to:

Please include the following information in the submission of your formal grievance:

  • your name, address and, if possible (although not required) a telephone number where you may be reached during business hours
  • information about the person(s) or class of persons that have been discriminated against by the Academy
  • a description of the alleged discriminatory act(s) in sufficient detail to enable the Academy to understand what occurred and when it occurred

The Academy will investigate the facts related to the formal grievance and provide a response to you within 30 calendar days of receiving the formal grievance.

Formal grievances under Section 504 and Title II of the ADA may also be filed on the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights website.
