The Best High Schools list evaluates nearly 18,000 public high schools nationwide, measuring performance in areas such as state assessments, graduation rates, and success in Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) exams. Rankings are produced in partnership with RTI International using verified data from the U.S. Department of Education, College Board, and International Baccalaureate.
