Vibhav Ganesan, a sophomore at the Davidson Academy, was recently featured on KOLO 8 News’ Morning Break segment promoting the upcoming SciVenture Science Fair, an event highlighting student creativity and scientific exploration across Northern Nevada.
During the segment, Vibhav shared information about the community science fair and encouraged others to attend. SciVenture brings together students from across the region to showcase their science projects while engaging the public through hands-on STEM activities and demonstrations.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 14 (Pi Day), from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Discovery Museum in Reno. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore student exhibits, participate in interactive activities, and connect with organizations supporting science and technology education.
The fair will also feature a keynote presentation from Davidson Academy alumnus Taylor Wilson, a nuclear scientist and inventor known for his contributions to STEM innovation.
