Davidson Academy students earned impressive recognition at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, this spring, competing alongside top students from around the world in business-focused events.
Five Davidson students were recognized on stage for their performances: Aadi Patwa, Shruthi Inamdar, Liam McCall, Arhan Achi, and Harry Park.
Shruthi Inamdar was named a finalist in the Entrepreneurship Series after earning both an exam medal and a roleplay medal. Harry Park also advanced to the finals in the Retail Merchandising Series, earning a roleplay medal and placing tenth overall in the international competition.
Additional recognitions included:
- Aadi Patwa, exam medalist in Hospitality and Tourism Team Decision Making
- Liam McCall, exam medalist in Hotel and Lodging Management Series
- Arhan Achi, exam medalist in Quick Serve Restaurant Management Series
The DECA International Career Development Conference brings together high-achieving students from across the globe to compete in events that highlight business knowledge, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
