The Davidson Academy is proud to announce that 30 students have been named Semifinalists in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students earned this distinction by achieving top scores on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), placing them among the top one percent of high school seniors nationwide.

Semifinalists are now eligible to compete for National Merit Finalist standing and scholarship awards. To advance, students must submit an application highlighting their academic accomplishments, leadership experience, and involvement in school and community activities. Finalists will be announced in February 2026, with scholarship recipients named beginning in April.
