Davidson Academy Science Bowl Teams Headed to National Competition

The Davidson Academy Science Bowl Teams competed at their state and regional competitions earlier this month and outshined all other schools.

In the high school division, Team A placed first for the fifth year in a row winning $5,000 for the Academy’s Math and Science Programs and a trip to Washington D.C. in April for the national competition. Davidson Academy Team B placed second in the state competition earning a $3,000 prize for the Academy’s Math and Science Programs.

Not to be outdone by the high school teams, the Davidson Academy’s middle school team placed first at the regional competition as well! The middle schoolers earned a prize of $5,000 for the Academy’s Math and Science Programs and will join Team A on their travels to Washington D.C. to compete in the middle school division for the national competition.
