Mark Herron is the President and CEO of the Davidson Group, the investment management and philanthropic office for Bob and Jan Davidson, their children and their charitable trusts.

Prior to the Davidson Group, Mr. Herron was Vice President and CFO of NewMedia Express, LCC, a software distribution joint venture of the educational software company Davidson & Associates and Mattel, Inc. In addition, Mr. Herron worked for 12 years at The Parsons Corporation, a major engineering and construction company. Assignments at Parsons included project management on the North Slope of Alaska and developing and structuring project financing transactions worldwide.

Mr. Herron is a graduate of Princeton University, with a BSE in Civil Engineering, and has an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Scripps College in Claremont, Calif., serving as Board Chair from July 2014 through June 2018. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees and former Chair of the Board of PBS Reno, the public television station serving northern Nevada and northeastern California.
